Mindful App ("the app") is built to help you use your phone more intentionally. We designed it to collect as little about you as possible. This policy explains what is and is not collected.
Your list of installed apps and which apps you choose to pause are read and stored only on your device. This list never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or any third party. Your name, goals, streaks, credits, and settings are stored locally on your device by default.
Sign-in is entirely optional. If you never sign in, all of your data remains only on your device and no personal information is sent to any server by Mindful App.
When you choose to sign in — using the passwordless email-link feature or Google Sign-In — your email address is used to authenticate you with Firebase Authentication (a Google service). Upon signing in, the following data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase / Cloud Firestore) linked to your account: your settings and preferences, the list of apps you have chosen to block and any associated schedules, your credits balance, your usage statistics (streaks, mindful choices, escapes), and your mini-action lists (contacts, grocery list, and calendar / to-do items).
Your subscription or Pro status is not stored in this cloud account; it is managed solely by the Apple App Store or Google Play and by RevenueCat.
The purpose of this cloud storage is to allow you to sync and restore your data when you change devices or reinstall the app.
Your cloud data persists until you delete your account and data from the app. Signing out of the app leaves your local data intact and does not by itself delete the cloud copy. To remove your data from the cloud, delete your account from Settings → "Delete account and data", or email weblycreator@gmail.com.
Your data stored in Google Cloud is processed by Google LLC as the cloud infrastructure provider, subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Usage analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used and how the app performs, in aggregate. These events do not include your app list, your contacts, or message content.
Purchases. Subscriptions and credit purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We receive purchase status (for example, whether Pro is active) but never your card or payment details.
The accessibility service is used only to detect which app is in the foreground so the pause screen can appear. It does not read screen content, messages, passwords, or keystrokes, and it makes no network calls.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time from Settings → "Delete account and data". To request deletion of analytics or purchase records associated with you, email weblycreator@gmail.com.
Mindful App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
